In 2017, Birmingham City Council commissioned Birmingham Community Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust (BCHC) to facilitate an early years service, to ensure equality for children of all backgrounds in the city. It was my task to develop a brand for the service, which was named Birmingham Forward Steps
The branding process was extensive; myself and the marketing team liaising closely with BCHC's service delivery partners (Barnardo's, Spurgeons, St Paul's Community Development Trust and The Springfield Project), as well as consulting community groups throughout Birmingham.
Upon sign-off of the Birmingham Forward Steps identity in late 2017, I produced a set of brand guidelines for the organisation - which informed their website design and set out guidance on using the brand appropriately across all channels.
